Clemson Computational Prelim Notes
Study notes distilled from exam prep, focused on intuition and core numerical linear algebra tools.
Background and Description
These notes were originally intended to facilitate my preparation for the prelim exam. As such, they are not written to be as rigorous as the texts they are based on. Many chapters and sections focus primarily on the abstract concepts and fundamental motivation of different topics, rather than explicitly deriving everything. However, I believe these notes can still serve as a strong basis for anyone studying numerical linear algebra.
Additionally, the notes are somewhat incomplete. Various appendices and sections could be added. I also have explicit solutions to exams from these corresponding courses, but they are withheld per the request of the instructors. If you would like to see these or the .tex document itself, feel free to contact me.
