Background
I'm (approximately) a np.floor((date.today() - date(1996, 1, 1)).days/365) year old data professional with a passion for solving problems. Here you'll find various information about my background and skill-sets.
Data Scientist and Mathematician
After exploring several engineering disciplines, I graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Engineering. Four years and two graduate degrees later, I joined The Walt Disney Company’s Decision Science division after completing my Ph.D. in Mathematics.
There, I grew from a research-oriented mathematician into an industry-minded decision scientist. I learned how, when, and when not to apply theory to real, large-scale business problems. I owned production-grade revenue management systems, mentored and managed junior teammates, and developed the ability to communicate complex decisions clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
After 3.5 years at Disney, I left in 2025 to join Sabre’s revenue management organization as a Lead Data Scientist. At Sabre, my role expanded from building decision systems to owning their clarity and usability. I lead technical efforts across airline revenue management products, focusing on explainability, diagnostics, and simplifying solution design, while remaining hands-on with modeling and engineering work.
Looking forward, I’m interested in roles that combine technical leadership, product ownership, and people management, where simplifying complex decision systems is as important as building them.
Hobbies and Interests
I thoroughly enjoy studying/thinking/participating in the act of making decisions.
That is why even when I am not working, I enjoy engaging in decision science-adjacent fields.
For me, these include: watching sports, competing in sports, and playing (competitive) games.
Additionally, a more recent interest of mine has been sharing and delivering "technical" content to anyone.
On my content page, you'll find some of these writings/side projects which, again, are centered around decision-rich fields such as sports and games.
When I inevitably need to use less of my brain, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family - frequently visiting Disney's theme parks and other pastimes.
